Tips for completing Phoenix Point - Guides and Tips # 019
It's all about the world map, the markers moving around it.
Geoscape or Glob, which is just a world map, is the view you'll see in most games - with the exception of battles on tactical maps. Here, all the action takes place between individual clashes - the movement of your army, factional combat or clashes with pandorans. All the missions you can participate in appear here.
Looking at the globe, you will get access to the following information and actions:
Target List - Here you will find a list of all active missions, divided into two sections. The upper part contains storyline-related missions that advance the action, while the lower part contains faction missions. You can click on a task at any time to go to it.
Time flow control - thanks to the buttons on the right edge of the screen, you can control the flow of time. You can stop and start it, as well as slow it down and speed it up, depending on your current needs.
Currently selected Aircraft - You will find the currently selected aircraft at the bottom of the screen. In addition to the type and name of the vehicle, you will also find information about the soldiers on board and can easily change the vehicle.
Flight range of the currently selected aircraft - the orange dotted line indicates the flight range of the currently selected aircraft. He will only be able to fly to points inside this zone. After reaching any point, the range will be updated and you will be able to repeat the flight.
From this point of view, of course, you will also have a view of the entire planet, with several hundred dots scattered on its surface. They can point to one of several groups of elements.:
The faction base is marked with the icon of this faction, green, purple or blue. You will also encounter the locations of neutral factions.
Missions are places marked with various symbols, depending on the type of mission itself. To participate in it, you must fly to this place and interact with it.
Places to discover are places represented by a question mark. Once you get to the place, you'll need to explore them to find the right activity.
Phoenix Point Database - marked with the Phoenix Point icon, the databases that you will manage.
Scanning areas should also be regularly supported from the globe level - they can be activated anywhere on the map. This triggers a scan that reveals all the hidden bases and secrets in a small area.
While playing on the world map, you must constantly monitor what is happening on the planet and react accordingly. The allied factions, as well as your own bases, will be regularly attacked, so you will have to defend them. It is also worth checking the map for the presence of Pandorian nests and destroying them quickly enough so that they do not grow. In addition, do not forget to leave at least one aircraft on each continent - this will contribute to an effective response to threats. bra bet
